Understanding integration status
For every integration you set up, Nexcal shows a status. It helps you see whether a connection is active, whether an action is needed on your side or whether an error occurred during processing. The status does not change campaign execution itself, but it affects the exchange of data with the connected system.
Possible states
Depending on the integration, the status can mean, among other things:
- connected: the integration is set up and exchanging data.
- not connected: there is currently no active connection.
- authentication required: the stored credentials are missing or no longer valid.
- processing error: individual transfers could not be completed.
- paused: the integration is temporarily disabled.
The exact label can differ by integration. Use the described meaning as your guide.
When an integration does not work as expected
- Check whether the status points to required authentication.
- Verify that the connected system is reachable.
- Review failed transfers under errors and reprocessing.
Hinweis: A status such as not connected does not mean data is lost. It only shows that no exchange is currently taking place.
When the connection is lost
If an integration is disconnected unexpectedly, the article integration disconnected helps you narrow it down. If the problem persists, contact support.
Keeping an eye on the status
It is advisable to check the status of important integrations regularly, especially after changes to credentials or the connected system. This way you notice early when a connection is no longer active and can react before leads or results are left waiting. The status is deliberately kept simple and does not replace a detailed error message. It serves as a first indication of the state of the connection and points to the appropriate error handling when there is a problem.
