The Form API
The Form API receives leads programmatically and passes them to your workspace. It is aimed at teams that want to send leads from their own forms or systems to Nexcal instead of using the Nexcal website form. Functionally it serves the same purpose as the form, but it is designed for connecting your own applications.
Availability
The Form API is available from the Power plan and is included in Enterprise. It is not available in Starter and Pro. For an overview, see plans and feature scope.
What the Form API is for
- Handing over leads from your own web form.
- Connecting an upstream system that captures contact data.
- Consistent lead capture when several sources come together.
How incoming leads then enter campaigns is described in assigning leads to a campaign.
How it differs from other integrations
- Form API: for the targeted handover of individual leads from your own forms.
- Public lead intake: for receiving leads through a defined public entry point. See public lead intake.
- REST API: for structured access to further Nexcal data. See REST API.
Hinweis: For Power, standardized payloads and defined limits apply. Enterprise customers can use different, individually agreed arrangements.
What to keep in mind
A lead submitted through the Form API does not trigger a call automatically. A conversation only takes place once the lead is assigned to an active campaign and the requirements for a campaign start are met. Also make sure the contact data handed over was collected lawfully and may be used for outreach. Responsibility for permitted use rests with you.
