Errors and reprocessing

Integrations exchange data with external systems. In the process, an individual transfer may not complete, for example because a target system is temporarily unreachable. This article explains how to recognize such cases and what Nexcal does about them.

Availability

These notes concern the integrations of the Power and Enterprise plans, that is the REST API, webhooks, Form API and public lead intake. In Starter and Pro, these integrations are not available. For an overview, see plans and feature scope.

Common causes

  • The target system is temporarily unreachable.
  • The credentials have expired or are invalid.
  • The transmitted data does not match the expected format.
  • A defined limit has been reached.

Recognizing errors

The integration status usually points to a problem. A status such as processing error or authentication required helps you narrow down the cause.

Reprocessing

  1. First resolve the identified cause, for example expired credentials.
  2. Check whether the target system is reachable again.
  3. Then verify that the status returns to an active connection.

Hinweis: A single error does not mean the entire integration is permanently disrupted. Often it is enough to resolve the underlying cause, after which new transfers proceed normally again.
