Selecting the caller ID
Every production campaign needs a caller ID that appears on the called person's display. You assign an approved number to the campaign. Only reviewed numbers are permitted for production calls.
Requirements
- At least one caller ID exists in the workspace. See adding a caller ID.
- The number is technically verified and has passed the Nexcal review.
- The number's status allows production calls. See understanding caller ID status.
How to do it
- Open the campaign in draft.
- In the caller ID section, select an approved number.
- Save the assignment.
For a guide from the number's perspective, see assigning a caller ID to a campaign.
Why only reviewed numbers
Nexcal separates the technical verification of the number from the subsequent review and the final approval. Only after approval may a number send in production. A rejected or revoked number is not available; see rejected or revoked numbers.
Plan-dependent availability
The number of caller IDs depends on the plan: Starter and Pro each include 1 caller ID, Power up to 3 and Enterprise from 5. For more, see caller IDs.
Wichtig: A campaign must not start in production before an approved caller ID is in place. If no suitable number is assigned, the start stays blocked.
