Caller IDs
A caller ID is the phone number that appears as the caller on the contact's side. Every plan includes a fixed number of caller IDs. The basics are described in what is a caller ID?.
Quota per plan
- Starter: 1 caller ID.
- Pro: 1 caller ID.
- Power: up to 3 caller IDs.
- Enterprise: from 5 caller IDs.
You can find the binding values on the pricing page.
Why several caller IDs can be useful
Several caller IDs let you run different campaigns, regions or brands through separate numbers. Starter and Pro provide one caller ID; from Power onward you can use several numbers in parallel.
Approval before use
Every caller ID goes through several steps before it can be used in production: the technical verification of the number, the subsequent Nexcal review and the final approval for production campaigns. The quota determines how many numbers you can hold; approval decides whether a number may be used.
- The number allowed depends on the plan.
- Every number must be verified and approved.
- Details on the limits are described in caller ID limits.
Hinweis: Without an approved caller ID, a campaign cannot start in production.

- Is the quota enough for production use? The quota determines how many numbers you can hold. A number may only be used after verification and approval.
- What if I need more numbers? If you need more caller IDs than your plan includes, a plan change is required.
