Campaign types at a glance
Nexcal offers five campaign types. Each type represents a typical conversation goal and comes with a suitable base configuration. The type determines what the voice agent focuses the conversation on and which building blocks matter most. You then define the actual objective in the campaign goal and description.
The available types
- Appointment campaign: The voice agent runs conversations aimed at scheduling a meeting. It relies on the booking settings.
- Lead qualification: Contacts are classified against defined criteria, and the outcome is recorded in result fields.
- Information campaign: Contacts are informed about a specific topic, without an appointment or qualification as the main goal.
- Survey: The agent asks structured questions and captures the answers in result fields.
- Custom campaign: Goal, script and results are defined freely when no standard type fits.
Choosing the right type
Choose the type that is closest to your conversation goal. As a guide:
- To schedule a meeting, choose the appointment campaign.
- To check interest and fit, choose lead qualification.
- To inform only, choose the information campaign.
- To collect structured answers, choose the survey.
- If none of these fit, choose the custom campaign.
The type is a preset, not a rigid frame. You further tailor every campaign through the script, knowledge and result fields.
If you are unsure, start with the type closest to your main goal and refine the campaign afterwards in the draft. The choice of type only sets the starting point; the actual steering comes from the campaign goal, the script and the result fields.
Hinweis: The campaign type shapes the base configuration. The campaign goal and the other building blocks remain decisive for how the conversation unfolds.
