What an information campaign is

In an information campaign, the voice agent informs contacts about a specific topic. An appointment or qualification is not the main goal. Typical occasions are an important notice, an announcement or a relevant change you want to communicate to a defined group of contacts.

What this type is suited for

An information campaign fits when the conversation is mainly about delivering a clear message:

  • announcing a change to an offering or service;
  • reminding contacts of an important date or deadline;
  • informing contacts about a change that affects them.

Even in an information campaign, the agent stays bound to the campaign goal. It does not invent additional offers and does not stray from the topic.

How the conversation unfolds

The conversation follows your script and the factual basis from the knowledge:

  1. The agent opens the conversation and states the reason for the call.
  2. It delivers the core information clearly and factually.
  3. It answers questions based on the stored knowledge.
  4. It closes the conversation and records relevant results.

If a contact responds with a callback request or a follow-up question, the agent can record this, provided it is configured.

Recording results

Even when an appointment is not the goal, it is worth capturing the conversation outcome in a structured way. Through result fields you record, for example, whether the information was delivered and whether the contact showed a reaction.

This lets you see afterwards how many contacts the message reached and where questions arose. Such a review helps you improve both the wording of the information and the stored knowledge.

Hinweis: Make sure the information to be delivered is stored correctly and up to date in the knowledge. Conflicting content leads to unclear statements.
