Nexcal review of your caller ID
After technical verification comes the Nexcal review. In this step, Nexcal reviews the caller ID you added before it is approved for production campaigns. Verification and review are deliberately separate: verification proves access to the number, while the review decides on the final approval.
What happens during the review
Nexcal checks whether the caller ID is permitted for use in your workspace. The review is connected to your company verification and the compliance requirements of your workspace. Internal assessment details are not published.
During the review the number cannot yet be used in production. You can continue preparing the campaign in the meantime; however, a production start is only possible after approval.
Telling verification and review apart
- Verification proves that you control the phone number.
- The Nexcal review decides whether the number may be used in production in the workspace.
- Only the final approval makes the number available for campaigns.
Both steps build on each other. Without completed verification no review starts, and without approval the number stays blocked.
Possible outcomes
- Approved: the number can be assigned to campaigns and used in production.
- Rejected: the number cannot be used. For how to proceed, see rejected or revoked numbers.
Hinweis: As long as no caller ID is approved, the production campaign start stays blocked. See why a campaign start can be blocked.
