Appointment link

The appointment link connects a conversation with an appointment and shows booking statuses such as not offered, offered, requested, booked or failed.

The appointment link establishes the connection between a conversation and an appointment. In the call detail view, you can see directly whether an appointment resulted from a conversation and what state it is in.

Whether an appointment is possible at all depends on your campaign. Only when appointment booking is configured can the voice agent offer or book an appointment. Without configuration, the agent does not promise appointments.

Possible booking statuses

A linked appointment can have different statuses:

  • not offered: No appointment was offered in the conversation.
  • offered: An appointment was offered but not yet firmly agreed.
  • requested: An appointment was requested and still needs to be confirmed.
  • booked: An appointment was booked bindingly.
  • failed: A booking was attempted but could not be completed.

For a detailed explanation of these states, see understanding booking status.

Hinweis: Instead of a fixed appointment, a conversation can also lead to a callback. See callbacks instead of appointments.

When a booking fails

If an appointment booking fails, the conversation remains documented and the status is set accordingly. Possible causes and steps are described in the article failed bookings. For persistent problems, appointment could not be booked can help. A failed attempt does not necessarily mean the contact is not interested; the appointment can often be arranged again after checking the booking settings.
