Call outcome
The call outcome describes the substantive result of a conversation that took place, in relation to the campaign goal. While the call status indicates whether a call took place, the call outcome summarizes what the conversation achieved in terms of content.
The specific outcome depends on the goal of your campaign. In an appointment campaign, a conversation can end with a booked appointment, for example, while in a qualification campaign it can end with a classification of the contact.
Typical outcomes
- an agreed or requested appointment;
- a requested callback;
- a contact classified as qualified or not a fit;
- explicitly expressed lack of interest;
- an opt-out or stop request;
- a conversation without a clear result.
Which outcomes are possible follows from the campaign type and the configured result fields. The voice agent derives the outcome from the actual course of the conversation and does not invent results.
How it works with other results
The call outcome does not stand on its own. It is made more precise by the structured result fields and can lead to a next step, such as an appointment link or a callback.
Hinweis: An opt-out or stop request should always be respected. How Nexcal handles such requests is described in do-not-call and opt-out.
Evaluation across several conversations
For evaluation across an entire campaign, the individual outcomes are brought together in analytics. For an overview of the aggregated results, see call outcomes.
