Language and voice settings

The language and voice settings determine which language the voice agent speaks and which voice it uses. Both settings belong to the campaign configuration and work together: the conversation language defines the language the conversation is held in, and the voice defines how it sounds.

Conversation language

The conversation language is the language in which the agent holds the conversation. Choose it to match your audience. Make sure the selected voice supports the chosen language. For general guidance, see language and regional settings.

Voice

Depending on your plan, standard voices and custom voices are available for the voice:

Checking the settings

Hinweis: Check the language and voice together before the production start with a preview or a test call. This makes sure both match. See voice preview and test call.

Because central campaign settings are locked after the start, the language and voice should be decided before the campaign starts.

Matching language and voice

Language and voice only sound convincing when they match. First choose the conversation language and then a voice that supports it. For multilingual audiences, set the language separately per campaign instead of running a single campaign in several languages.
