Choosing standard voices
Standard voices are the preconfigured voices the Nexcal voice agent speaks with. They are available in all plans and can be selected per campaign. This lets you decide how your company sounds during the conversation without creating your own voice.
Where you choose the voice
The voice is part of the campaign configuration. In the campaign settings, you select an available standard voice that matches the chosen conversation language. The selection applies to that campaign.
Choosing a suitable voice
- Make sure the voice and the conversation language match.
- Consider the audience and the character of your campaign.
- Check the effect before the production start with a preview or a test call. See voice preview and test call.
Hinweis: Test and preview calls are used to check the voice and are not billed.
Setting the voice per campaign
The voice is set per campaign and is not enforced across the workspace. This means different campaigns can use different voices. Because the voice is part of the campaign configuration and central settings are locked after the start, the selection should be decided before the campaign starts.
Standard voices and custom voices
Standard voices are included in every plan. If you want to use an individually created voice, you need a custom voice, which is available from the Pro plan. See custom voice and standard and custom voices.
