Adding a caller ID
Before Nexcal calls on your behalf, you need at least one approved caller ID. Adding a number is the first step; approval then follows through verification and the Nexcal review. This article walks you through creating a number and the next steps.
Requirements
- You are signed in to your workspace.
- You have a role with the necessary permissions.
- Your plan allows another caller ID. See caller ID limits.
- You have access to the phone number you want to add.
Step by step
- Open the caller IDs and voices area in your workspace.
- Create a new caller ID with the full phone number, including the country code.
- Start verifying the phone number to prove access to the number.
- Then wait for the Nexcal review of your caller ID.
- Once the number is approved, you can assign it to a campaign.
What happens next
After you add it, the number moves through the individual statuses until it is approved. You can view the current state at any time; details are explained in understanding caller ID status.
Wichtig: A campaign must not start in production before the required company verification and an approved caller ID are in place. Submit your company verification in good time.
Common mistakes
- The phone number was added without a country code.
- Verification was started but not completed.
- The plan does not allow another caller ID.
