What controlled auto-optimization is
Controlled auto-optimization means that Nexcal weighs variants of a campaign against one another within clearly defined limits and increases the share of the better-performing variants. The decisive point is control: the approach works only within the rules and limits you have set beforehand and does not replace your responsibility for the campaign.
Controlled auto-optimization is included on the Enterprise plan. On the Starter, Pro and Power plans no automatic optimization takes place; there, recommendations are applied only manually, as described in reviewing and applying recommendations.
How control is ensured
To keep the optimization traceable, several principles apply:
- You define the permitted variants and the limits of the optimization.
- Changes remain bound to the campaign goal and your objection rules.
- Each adjustment is recorded as a versioned change.
- The results can be reviewed as with A/B tests and champion/challenger tests.
Limits and responsibility
Controlled auto-optimization is not a set-and-forget process. It replaces neither the regular review of the metrics nor your responsibility for the content of the script, knowledge and objection handling. Continue to review how the campaign develops, even when the share of variants is adjusted automatically.
Hinweis: Controlled auto-optimization is available only on the Enterprise plan. On all other plans you decide on every change yourself.
