Entering your company address correctly

How to enter the company address for verification completely and consistently, and avoid common mistakes.

Why the company address matters

The company address is part of company verification and describes the registered office of the responsible company. A correct address helps Nexcal assign the details clearly and avoids follow-up questions during the review.

The address is reviewed together with the company name and legal form. If these details match, your company can be identified clearly and the review can continue without delay. Contradictions between the details, on the other hand, often extend the review.

Parts of a complete address

Enter the address exactly as it appears in your official company documents:

  • street and house number;
  • postal code and city;
  • country;
  • if applicable, an address addition such as building, floor or c/o.

Use the actual business address of the registered office rather than a pure delivery address, if the two differ.

Addresses outside Germany

The same principles apply for a registered office abroad: enter the complete address including the country. Reflect regional specifics such as state, province or postal code format exactly as they are used officially.

Avoiding common mistakes

  • incomplete details, such as a missing house number or postal code;
  • an address that does not match the company name provided;
  • abbreviations or spellings that differ from the official documents;
  • outdated addresses after a move.

Hinweis: Make sure the company name, legal form and address match. Contradictions between these details often lead to the status "more information required".

Correcting or updating the address

As long as the review is not yet complete, you can revise the details in the workspace and company settings. If the review is already complete and your address changes, update the details and resubmit the review if needed. See resubmitting a verification.
