Who counts as an authorized representative

As part of company verification, you name a person who is allowed to represent the company. This is usually someone who may act legally on behalf of the company, for example a managing director or an explicitly authorized person.

The authorized representative does not have to be the same person who uses the workspace day to day. What matters is that they may represent the company in connection with the use of Nexcal.

What details are required

  • the full first and last name;
  • the function or role in the company;
  • a business email address;
  • if requested, a phone number for follow-up questions.

Use business contact details rather than private ones, so follow-up questions can be assigned reliably.

Several authorized representatives

If your company has several authorized representatives, name the one who should act as the point of contact in connection with Nexcal. You can involve other responsible people through roles in the workspace without listing them in the verification. Make sure the named person is actually reachable for follow-up questions.

Why this detail matters

Naming an authorized representative ensures that a responsible point of contact for the company is on file. This detail is part of company verification and therefore a prerequisite for starting campaigns in production.

Hinweis: The named person should actually be authorized to represent the company. Inconsistencies can lead to the status "more information required".

Updating the details

If the authorized representative changes, update the details in the workspace and company settings. If the review was already complete, a resubmission may be required. See resubmitting a verification.
