Caller ID review stuck
A caller ID goes through several steps before it can be used in production campaigns: the technical verification of the phone number, the subsequent Nexcal review and finally the approval. When this process stalls, this article helps you narrow down the cause.
Where is the review stuck?
First clarify at which step things are stuck. The process and the individual statuses are described in understanding caller ID status.
- Technical verification open: The phone number has not been confirmed yet. Complete the verification.
- In Nexcal review: The number is being reviewed after verification. What happens is explained in Nexcal review of your caller ID.
- Rejected or revoked: The number was not approved, or an approval was withdrawn.
Common causes
- the technical verification was not completed;
- the details for the phone number do not match the company details;
- the number was rejected or revoked.
For rejected or revoked numbers, rejected or revoked numbers can help.
Hinweis: The technical verification of the phone number and the Nexcal review are two separate steps. Only after the final approval can a number be used in production.
If the review does not move forward
If a number stays in review for a long time without an apparent reason, contact support. Include your workspace and the visible status of the caller ID. Only share the phone number as far as needed to resolve the issue.
