Workspace deletion
Workspace deletion removes your company's shared working environment from Nexcal. It affects the data stored in the workspace, such as contacts, lead lists, campaigns and call results. This article explains what to keep in mind.
What a workspace contains
A workspace brings together, among other things:
- contacts and lead lists;
- campaigns and their configuration;
- call results and documentation;
- users and roles as well as plan and usage data.

Before you delete
- Back up any data you need in advance using the data export.
- Inform the affected users in the workspace.
- Resolve running campaigns and open results.
Wichtig: Deleting a workspace affects all data stored in it and cannot easily be undone. Carry out the required exports beforehand.
Who may delete a workspace
Deleting a workspace requires the corresponding permissions and is usually reserved for the managing user. If the option is missing, check your role; see roles and permissions.
Impact and retention
After deletion, the whereabouts of any remaining data follow the retention rules and the applicable requirements. A workspace deletion affects only the data of the respective workspace, not necessarily other workspaces of your company. Store exported data securely and share it only with authorized recipients.
