Roles of Nexcal and the customer
Data protection in Nexcal rests on a clear division of roles. Your company decides which contacts are called, with which goal and on which basis. Nexcal provides the platform and processes the data required for this on behalf of your company.
Nexcal provides technical and organizational functions for controlled and privacy-oriented use. The customer remains responsible for configuring and running their campaigns lawfully.
The customer's responsibility
As the workspace operator, you are responsible in particular for:
- selecting the contacts and the admissibility of the call;
- the legal basis for the processing;
- the content of the script, knowledge and campaign goals;
- honoring opt-out and do-not-call requests;
- configuring recording and retention.
Nexcal does not make a legal assessment of your campaign. Lawful configuration is up to you. For details, see responsibilities of the workspace operator.
What Nexcal does
Nexcal processes contact and call data to run your campaigns, document results and operate the platform securely. This includes handling calls, storing call results and applying technical and organizational safeguards. The service providers involved are described in subprocessors.
How this works day to day
- You define the campaign goal, contacts and rules.
- Nexcal runs the calls along your configuration.
- Results and documentation are available to you in the workspace.
- A data processing agreement governs processing on your behalf.
Hinweis: Nexcal does not carry out a legal review of your contact lists. Before you start, make sure your campaign meets the applicable requirements.
