Salesforce integration
The Salesforce integration connects Nexcal with your Salesforce CRM. Leads and conversation results can be reconciled between both systems, so your sales team can work with a consistent data set. The integration is aimed at teams that use Salesforce as their central CRM.
Availability
The Salesforce integration is available from the Power plan and is included in Enterprise. It is not available in Starter and Pro. For details on availability by plan, see plans and feature scope.
What the integration is for
- Handing over leads between Salesforce and Nexcal.
- Reconciling conversation results with the matching records.
- A consistent data basis for the further sales process.
Which fields are mapped to each other is defined through data mappings.
What to keep in mind
The data exchange requires valid credentials. How integrations are authenticated is described in integration authentication. You can see the current connection state through the integration status.
Wichtig: Check which data is transferred, and make sure the exchange is compatible with your internal policies and the agreements with the people concerned.
How to prepare the connection
- Clarify which leads and results should be exchanged between Salesforce and Nexcal.
- Define the matching field mappings. See data mappings.
- After setup, verify with a few records that the values arrive in the correct field.
A carefully prepared mapping avoids results landing in the wrong field or records being created twice.
