Rejected or revoked numbers
A caller ID can be rejected during the Nexcal review, or an already approved number can be revoked later. In both cases the number can no longer be used for production campaigns. This article explains what that means and how to proceed.
Difference between rejected and revoked
- Rejected: the number was not approved during the review and was not yet in production use.
- Revoked: a previously approved number was blocked for production use after the fact.
Impact on campaigns
A rejected or revoked number is not available for selection in new campaigns. If the number is assigned to a campaign, that campaign cannot start in production as long as no approved caller ID is in place. In that case, assign a different approved number to the affected campaign.
Wichtig: Only use phone numbers you are allowed to use. Numbers that are repeatedly flagged can lead to a revocation.
How to proceed
- Check the status of the number. See understanding caller ID status.
- Make sure the phone number and company details are correct and complete.
- If needed, add a different caller ID and have it approved.
- If the cause stays unclear, contact support.
If the review is stuck or the status remains unclear, caller ID review stuck can help. For further questions, contacting support is available.
