Assigning a caller ID to a campaign
For a campaign to call in production, it needs an approved caller ID. The assignment is made in the campaign settings. Only numbers that have successfully completed the approval process are available for selection.
Requirements
- At least one approved caller ID is in place. See understanding caller ID status.
- You are editing a campaign that has not yet been started.
- You have a role with the necessary permissions.
Step by step
- Open the campaign you want in the campaign settings.
- In the caller ID section, select an approved number.
- Save the selection.
- Complete the remaining start requirements and launch the campaign once everything is prepared.
Selecting the caller ID is part of the campaign configuration. How it fits into the campaign context is described in selecting the caller ID.
Hinweis: After the campaign starts, central settings are locked. Check the assigned caller ID before the start.
Using multiple caller IDs
If your plan includes several caller IDs, you can choose a suitable number for each campaign. This lets you run different campaigns or regions with different caller IDs, for example. How many numbers are available to you is described in caller ID limits.
If no number can be selected
If no number is available for selection, usually no caller ID has been approved yet. In that case, add a number and complete the approval process. See adding a caller ID.
