What the callback status shows
The callback status documents whether and in what state a callback resulted from a conversation. A callback is an alternative to a fixed appointment: if a contact wants to be called again at a later time, Nexcal can record this and note it for further handling.
Whether callbacks are provided for in your campaign depends on the configuration. How the voice agent captures callback requests in the conversation is described in callback requests.
Callback instead of appointment
A callback is suitable when a contact shows interest in principle but does not want to arrange a fixed appointment right now. Instead of a booking, the wish to be contacted again is documented. The basic distinction is described in callbacks instead of appointments.
From callback request to execution
A noted callback feeds into the handling of the leads. The associated execution status is described in callback scheduled. This keeps it traceable whether a requested callback is still pending or has already taken place.
Hinweis: A callback is not a confirmed appointment. If the contact wants a binding appointment, use appointment booking. See appointment link.
Keeping callbacks in view
A callback status is only useful if scheduled callbacks are actually followed up. Check open callbacks regularly in the lead results so that no request is overlooked. See reviewing lead results. Note whether a callback was requested for a specific time, and reconcile this with your calling window so that the callback takes place within the permitted times.
