Do-not-call and opt-out

Do-not-call and opt-out describe a person's wish not to be called (again). Nexcal helps you honor such requests. Lawful configuration and implementation is up to you as the workspace operator.

What an opt-out means

If a person says during or after a call that they no longer want to be contacted, this is an opt-out request. How the agent handles such requests during the call is described in opt-out and stop requests. After a clear stop request, the agent does not continue to argue.

Principles for handling opt-outs

  • A clearly expressed stop request must be respected.
  • An objection to a recording must be treated like an opt-out.
  • Contacts who should not be called should not be added to a campaign.

Nexcal provides technical and organizational functions for controlled and privacy-oriented use. The customer remains responsible for configuring and running their campaigns lawfully.

Wichtig: Take do-not-call and opt-out requests seriously and act on them promptly. Responsibility for honoring these requests lies with you.

Impact on the campaign

An opt-out can lead to a lead no longer being called. Further reasons why a lead was not called are described in why a lead was not called. The calling window also affects whether and when a call is made.
