What is the campaign context?
The campaign context covers the information that applies only to a specific campaign. While the global company context forms the company-wide foundation, the campaign context describes the concrete offer, the target group and the specifics of the respective conversation. This lets the same voice agent set different priorities depending on the campaign.
The campaign context is part of the campaign's factual basis. It complements the campaign goal and the script but does not replace them.
What belongs here
The campaign context should hold details that matter for the concrete campaign goal:
- the specific offer or the concrete promotion;
- relevant details about the target group being addressed;
- campaign-specific conditions or notes;
- information the agent needs for typical questions.
General, company-wide details belong in the global company context instead.
Distinction from the script
The campaign context provides facts; the script steers the flow of the conversation. If you want to define how the agent phrases things or in which order it proceeds, that belongs in the script. If you want to define what information the agent knows, that belongs in the context. This distinction is explained in script vs. knowledge.
Quality and currency
A precise campaign context improves conversation quality because the agent can answer questions with confidence. Avoid contradictory or outdated details that lead to unclear answers.
Hinweis: The knowledge state is captured when the campaign starts. Changes to the campaign context after start do not apply retroactively. See changing knowledge after campaign start.
