Language and regional settings

Nexcal is bilingual and supports German and English. Regional settings apply on several levels: the language of the interface, the language of the conversations, the formatting of phone numbers and the timing of campaigns.

Interface language

The display language of the platform can be switched between German and English. This setting applies to the display for your user account and does not change the language in which conversations are held.

Conversation language

The conversation language is set at the level of the campaign and the selected voice, not through the display language. Make sure the script, knowledge and voice match your audience. For guidance on choosing a voice, see choosing standard voices.

Phone numbers and regions

Phone numbers should be entered in international format with a country code, for example with a leading plus sign and the country dialing code. This reduces errors during import and when connecting calls. For a detailed guide, see formatting phone numbers correctly.

Timing

When contacts are called is controlled through the campaign's calling window. Take the appropriate time zone of your audience into account so that calls happen at reasonable times. The calling window article in the campaigns section describes the details.

Hinweis: Before you start, check that the interface language, conversation language and time window fit the specific campaign. These settings work independently of each other.
