Opt-out and stop requests

Some contacts do not want to be contacted or ask not to receive any more calls in future. Nexcal is designed to take such opt-out and stop requests seriously and end the conversation accordingly.

How the agent responds to an opt-out

If a contact expresses the wish not to be contacted further, the agent respects this. It does not continue with objection handling and does not try to change the contact's mind. The agent ends the conversation factually and politely.

  • The agent recognizes the wish not to be contacted further.
  • The agent does not keep arguing and does not push.
  • The agent ends the conversation in an orderly way.
  • The request is documented in the conversation result.

Why opt-out requests matter

Handling opt-out and stop requests respectfully is a central part of a responsible campaign. How to handle do-not-call and opt-out in general is described in do-not-call and opt-out.

Wichtig: Nexcal does not make a legal assessment of your campaign. Configuring and running it lawfully, including how you handle opt-out requests, remains your responsibility as the workspace operator.

What happens after an opt-out

A captured opt-out request is recorded in the conversation result. How you treat such a contact further depends on your campaign and compliance settings. Review the documented requests regularly to manage your campaigns responsibly.
