Archiving or deleting lead lists

You can remove lead lists you no longer need from the active workspace. Nexcal distinguishes between archiving and deleting. Both paths have different consequences.

Archiving

When you archive, a lead list is taken out of the active view but is retained. This suits lists that are not needed right now but could still be relevant later. The contained contacts remain in the workspace.

Deleting

When you delete, the lead list itself is removed. The contacts the list referenced stay in the workspace, unless they are deleted separately at the contact level. Deleting a list therefore does not delete the underlying contacts.

Wichtig: Before deleting, check whether the lead list is assigned to a campaign. If a list is part of a started campaign, you should understand the effects on the campaign before you remove the list.

What is retained

• the contacts in the workspace;
• conversation results already produced for the related campaign;
• the state saved at campaign start, if a campaign was started.

Making the right choice

• Choose archive if you might need the list again later.
• Choose delete if the list is permanently no longer needed.
