What lead qualification means
A lead qualification campaign classifies contacts against defined criteria. The goal is not an appointment but a reliable assessment: does the contact fit your offering, is there interest and what should the next step look like? The outcome is recorded in a structured way in result fields.
Defining the criteria
Decide in advance what a qualification depends on. Typical criteria are:
- general interest in the topic;
- whether the person is responsible for the decision;
- needs and conditions;
- the time horizon for a possible decision.
You describe these criteria in the campaign goal and the script. The voice agent asks the matching questions without overwhelming the person on the other end.
Results in result fields
To keep the qualification analysable, you record the results in result fields. You decide which details are captured and which of them are required fields. Required fields can act as a gate before the conversation is considered complete. The article configuring result fields describes how to set up the fields.
The agent asks at most one clear question per conversation step and does not re-ask details that have already been confirmed. Fields that do not apply may be marked as such.
After qualification
Based on the captured results, you can continue working with qualified contacts, for example in an appointment campaign or in a personal sales process. Nexcal does not decide on the next step; the captured fields provide the basis for it.
Make sure the criteria you choose can actually be asked about during the conversation. Too many or overly detailed criteria overwhelm the person on the other end and reduce the quality of the results.
Hinweis: Define the qualification criteria and the associated result fields before the start. After the campaign start, the settings are locked.
