What a campaign is
A campaign is the central unit in Nexcal. It brings together everything the voice agent needs for a series of outbound conversations: the goal, the script, the factual basis, the objection rules, the results to be captured and the leads to be called. Every campaign pursues a clearly defined goal and calls a selected group of contacts.
The voice agent is not a free-form chatbot. It phrases things naturally within the settings you define, but it does not deviate from the campaign goal.
What a campaign is made of
A campaign is composed of several building blocks that together control the conversation:
- The campaign goal defines what each conversation should achieve.
- The script acts as the conversation guardrail.
- The AI layer adds further campaign rules.
- Knowledge provides the factual basis for questions.
- Objection rules determine the permitted handling of objections.
- Result fields define which results are captured.
- Booking settings define the permitted appointment process.
In addition, you select a caller ID, a voice and the lead list to be called.
The lifecycle of a campaign
A campaign moves through several phases. It starts as a draft that you configure and test at your own pace. Once all requirements are met, you start the campaign in production. After that it can be paused, resumed and eventually archived.
- Create and configure the campaign as a draft.
- Check it beforehand with test calls.
- Start it in production once approvals are in place.
- Review results and pause or archive the campaign as needed.
How many campaigns can be active at once
How many campaigns may be active at the same time depends on your plan:
- Starter: 3 active campaigns;
- Pro: up to 15 active campaigns;
- Power: up to 50 active campaigns;
- Enterprise: individual campaign limits.
Drafts and archived campaigns do not count as active campaigns.
Hinweis: A campaign must not start in production before the required company verification and an approved caller ID are in place.
