Creating a campaign as a draft

Every new campaign starts as a draft. A draft is a campaign that has not yet been started in production. In this state you can configure, change and review all settings at your own pace, without any calls taking place.

Step by step

  1. Create a new campaign and choose the matching campaign type.
  2. Give it a meaningful name.
  3. Formulate the campaign goal and description.
  4. Create the script and provide the knowledge.
  5. Define the result fields and, if needed, the booking settings.
  6. Assign the lead list, a caller ID and a voice.

You do not have to do everything in one go. A draft remains editable until you start it in production.

Editing and deleting a draft

As long as a campaign is a draft, you can adjust settings at any time. You can also delete drafts that have not been started when you no longer need them. Started campaigns, by contrast, are not deleted like drafts; they are paused, ended or archived.

Before you start

Before the production start, Nexcal checks the company approval, the caller ID, the assigned leads and the campaign settings, among other things. It is therefore best to check the draft beforehand with a test call. Test and preview calls are not billed.

Take enough time for the configuration. Because a draft does not yet trigger any calls, you can adjust the script, the knowledge and the result fields until all building blocks fit together. If several people work on a campaign, coordinate the setup in the draft before you start.

Hinweis: A draft can be changed as often as you like. After the production start, most settings are locked so that the campaign stays traceable.
