Concurrency limits
Concurrency determines how many conversations of a campaign can run at the same time. It is one of the most important factors for the speed at which Nexcal works through your lead queue. The available concurrency depends on your plan.
Concurrency by plan
Each plan includes a plan-based cap on simultaneous conversations:
- Starter: up to 25 parallel calls;
- Pro: up to 100 parallel calls;
- Power: up to 350 parallel calls;
- Enterprise: from 500 parallel calls or individually.
This cap applies to the simultaneously active conversations of your workspace. For details on the scope, see concurrent calls.
How concurrency takes effect
Nexcal keeps as many conversations running at the same time as your concurrency allows. When the cap is reached, further leads wait in the queue until a running conversation ends and frees a slot. Higher concurrency can process a campaign faster, but it does not change billing: the basis remains solely the connected talk time, to the second.
Interaction with other limits
Concurrency is not the only limit. The number of active campaigns, the calling window and your usage status also affect execution. How these limits work together is described in capacity and workspace limits.
Hinweis: High concurrency does not replace careful campaign configuration. Keep paying attention to a permitted calling window and a well-maintained lead list.
Concurrency in practice
In practice, full concurrency is only reached when enough waiting leads are in the queue and the calling window is open. With small lead lists or narrow time windows, fewer conversations often run at the same time than your plan would generally allow. The cap is a maximum, not a guaranteed constant.
