Static meeting links

Static meeting links are fixed links for self-booking or a permanent meeting room and do not replace a slot-precise booking in the Nexcal Calendar.

A static meeting link is a fixed link an AI voice agent can mention or provide as part of a campaign. Unlike a directly booked appointment, the static link does not lead to a concrete slot in the Nexcal Calendar but points to a fixed booking or meeting page.

Static meeting links are suitable when the contact should choose the appointment themselves or when a permanently identical conference room is used.

  • Self-booking: The contact chooses an appointment on their own through a fixed page.
  • Fixed meeting room: A permanently identical link is used for online appointments.
  • Simple process: No slot-precise scheduling during the conversation is required.

For a binding scheduling during the conversation, a directly booked or offered appointment is the more suitable appointment type. Details are available in configuring the appointment type.

  1. Store the fixed link in the booking settings or in the knowledge of the campaign.
  2. Define whether the agent should mention the link and, if enabled, send it by confirmation email.
  3. Make sure the link is valid and reachable.
  4. Check the flow before the start with a test call.

Hinweis: A static meeting link does not replace a slot-precise booking in the Nexcal Calendar. The link does not automatically result in an appointment being documented as booked. The related booking status depends on the chosen appointment type.

Whether the contact additionally receives the link in writing depends on whether a confirmation email is enabled and available. Nexcal does not send a message automatically in every case. How confirmations work is described in the article booking confirmations.
