What the Nexcal Calendar is
The Nexcal Calendar is the internal appointment management of your campaigns. It represents when appointments are generally possible and assembles from this the available time slots an AI voice agent may offer during a conversation. The Nexcal Calendar works without an external calendar connection.
You set the framework in the booking settings of the campaign. The Nexcal Calendar then checks which time slots are actually bookable within those rules and holds back appointments that are already taken.
How the Nexcal Calendar determines times
The bookable times result from several settings working together:
- the meeting duration, meaning the length of an appointment;
- the booking window, which limits the permitted lead time and range;
- the available time slots from which concrete slots are formed;
- appointments that are already booked and are not offered again.
From this information the Nexcal Calendar calculates the slots the agent may mention. Every offered time slot therefore stays traceable and tied to your configuration.
The Nexcal Calendar and external calendars
The Nexcal Calendar operates independently and needs no external connection. A connection to external calendars such as Google Calendar or Microsoft Calendar is planned and will be described separately once it is available. Until then, you manage appointments through the Nexcal Calendar.
Hinweis: As long as no external calendar connection is active, the Nexcal Calendar is the authoritative source for available time slots. Maintain the booking settings carefully so that offered appointments are correct.
What the Nexcal Calendar does not do
The Nexcal Calendar makes no automatic appointment decision outside your rules. It does not move appointments on its own and does not set times you have not released. Control lies entirely with your campaign configuration.
