Enabling booking

Booking is not enabled globally but per campaign. You release the appointment process in the booking settings of the individual campaign and define there which appointment paths the AI voice agent may use. Without this release, the agent does not promise appointments.

Booking is most commonly used in an appointment campaign, whose goal is to arrange an appointment. You can also add appointment paths to other campaign types.

Requirements

Before you enable booking meaningfully, the following basics should be clarified:

  • The campaign is set up as a draft and has not yet started.
  • The campaign goal is defined and matches the intended appointment process.
  • You have a role with the permissions needed to configure campaigns.

Step by step

  1. Open the desired campaign in draft.
  2. Switch to the booking settings of the campaign.
  3. Enable booking and select the permitted appointment paths.
  4. Define the appointment type, meeting duration, booking window and available time slots.
  5. Decide whether a confirmation email should be sent, if it is available.
  6. Save the configuration and check the campaign with a test call before you start.

The individual options are described in separate articles, for example in configuring the appointment type and meeting duration.

What happens after enabling

After enabling, the agent takes the released appointment paths into account during the conversation. It only offers appointments within the configured rules and documents the outcome through the booking status.

Wichtig: At campaign start, the booking configuration is saved as part of the versioned campaign state. After the start, these settings can no longer be changed the way they can in a draft. Review the configuration carefully before you start.
