Processing of contact data

Contact data is the basis of every campaign. Nexcal processes the contacts you import or create in order to run calls and assign results. This article explains which data typically arises and how the scope of processing is limited.

Which contact data arises

  • Master data: name, phone number and optional fields such as company or role.
  • Assignment data: membership of lead lists and campaigns.
  • Result data: the call outcome and values captured in result fields.

Which fields are supported is described by the import workflow. The phone number should be in international format with a country code.

Where the data comes from

Contact data enters your workspace through a CSV import, manual creation or, depending on your plan, integrations. You, as the workspace operator, are responsible for the selection and lawfulness of the imported contacts. Nexcal does not verify where the contacts come from.

Scope of processing

Contact data is processed in order to:

  • run calls within your campaigns;
  • assign call results to the correct contact;
  • honor opt-out and do-not-call requests.

Nexcal does not use your contact data for its own advertising purposes. Processing takes place on behalf of your company under the data processing agreement.

Hinweis: Limit imported fields to what your campaign actually needs. Less data means less effort for retention and deletion.

Retention and deletion

How long contact data is kept follows the retention rules. To hand over data, use the data export.
