Usage history

The usage history shows how much talk time was connected over a period. It helps you trace actual consumption and attribute usage to individual conversations.

What the usage history is for

The usage history reflects connected talk time. It is the basis for observing consumption over time and making usage traceable.

  • It shows connected conversations with their duration.
  • Durations are shown as mm:ss or h:mm:ss.
  • Unanswered as well as preview and test calls do not count towards billable usage.

What the usage history reflects

It is based solely on connected talk time, recorded to the second. The history therefore makes visible which production conversations counted towards your usage. How usage is generated in general is described in understanding call usage.

Putting usage in context

The usage history helps you relate consumption to your campaign activity. When connected talk time increases, usage increases too. This lets you gauge how activity affects consumption.

Hinweis: The usage history reflects connected talk time. The monthly platform price is separate from it.

Common questions

  • Why does the displayed duration differ? What matters is the connected time, not the time from the dial attempt.
  • How does the usage history relate to the invoice? The history reflects connected talk time. How the platform price and usage are reflected in the invoice is described in invoices and payment details.
  • Are preview and test calls included? No. Preview and test calls as well as unanswered calls do not count towards billable usage.
