Preview calls and test calls
Preview calls and test calls are used to check a campaign before the production start. They are explicitly not billable and create no call usage.
What preview and test calls are for
Before a campaign calls contacts in production, you should check the configuration: script, knowledge, result fields and the chosen voice. Preview and test calls make exactly this possible without creating usage.
- You check how a campaign sounds and phrases.
- You review the configuration before launch.
- They create no billable talk time.
Difference from production calls
A production call is part of a started campaign and calls real contacts. If it is answered, connected talk time is created and counts towards usage. A preview or test call, by contrast, is classified as such and stays without usage. The functional difference is described in preview calls and production calls.
Test before launch
Nexcal recommends testing every campaign before the production start. How to check a campaign beforehand is described in testing a campaign before launch. This helps you spot possible configuration errors before real contacts are called.
Hinweis: Preview and test calls are not billable. Only an answered production call creates connected talk time.
Common questions
